Where to buy

Overview

The V2 4-Leg is for setups where 355 lb isn't enough or where the desktop is wide enough that a 2-leg frame would flex. With one motor in each of four legs, capacity jumps to 535 lb and stability stays solid up to 80" wide. Speed and noise are similar to a standard V2; the meaningful differences are capacity and the price tag.

Most buyers don't need this. It earns its keep for: dual-workstation setups, electronics workshops, multi-monitor video production rigs, or anyone running gear (CNC, large 3D printers) that exceeds a 2-leg frame's limits. Casters are commonly added because moving an 80"-wide loaded desk by hand is unrealistic.

Note: Uplift has not yet released a V3-generation 4-leg frame as of 2026 — this is V2-era frame tech with the V2's slower motors and more involved assembly.

Pros & cons

Pros

  • By far the highest weight capacity in the Uplift line
  • Stays stable at standing height even on 80"-wide tops
  • Best choice for dual-workstation setups (two monitors + lab gear, etc.)
  • Whisper-quiet despite heavy duty

Cons

  • Significantly more expensive than 2-leg options
  • Heavier and harder to move; 4-leg footprint takes more floor space
  • Overkill for most single-user setups
  • No V3 equivalent yet — you're buying V2-generation frame tech

What manufacturer-site reviews say

On-site reviews are heavy with photos of multi-monitor and 'maker workshop' setups. Praise centers on rock-solid stability under heavy loads; complaints are mostly about the cost and shipping logistics for 80"+ desktops.
